Raymond G. Gajski

Ray has been involved in all facets of the mechanical contracting industry since 1974. He has experience with industrial and commercial mechanical systems installation and service while holding positions as project foreman, field superintendent, estimator, and owner/operator of a Mechanical Contracting firm.  He was Vice President of Operations at Ruthrauff | Sauer Inc. and now brings this broad-based experience to Ruthrauff | Sauer as President and General Manager.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for The Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Pennsylvania and International Mechanical Code HVAC Licensee for the City of Pittsburgh.

Gordon Collins

Gordon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Grove City College. After spending 11 years as project engineer for a large consulting firm, Gordon was hired as Ruthrauff | Sauer’s Chief Engineer in March 1999. Since 1988, Gordon’s years of experience have included projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and government market sectors designing mechanical systems for various building types such as hospitals, hotels, office buildings, dormitories and laboratories.  Gordon was promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2006.

Gordon is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.

Michael Surunis

Mike received an Associates Degree in HVACR Technology in 1984 and has worked throughout his career in estimating, sales and project management. He joined Ruthrauff | Sauer in 1995 as an HVAC estimator after previous employment with a large Midwestern mechanical contractor and a major controls contractor.

Mike was promoted to Vice President of Preconstruction Services in 2008 allowing him to focus on budgeting, negotiating and sales of hard bid and negotiated projects.

Mike is a member of SMACNA of Western Pennsylvania.

James Driscoll
Plumbing Service Manager

Jim Driscoll has been involved in the Plumbing industry since 1986, initially with a wholesale distributor and then as a Plumbing Apprentice. Jim joined the Ruthrauff | Sauer team in 2000 and was involved with the development of the Plumbing Service Division. He has been Plumbing Service Manager since 2005.

John Sloan

John was hired as General Manager of Ruthrauff Service LLC's HVAC Service and Building Automation Division in 1992, promoted to Vice President in 1999 and in 2006 promoted to President of Ruthrauff Service LLC.  He has an Associate's Degree in HVACR Technology and has been involved in all aspects of commercial HVAC service starting his career in 1972 as a Journeyman Service Technician.

John is on the Board of Directors for the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA), Board of Directors for the Unified Group; an active member of Mechanical Service Contractors Association (MSCA), and Building Owners and Managers (BOMA).

Bruce Lawther
Operations Manger/Ruthrauff Service, LLC

Bruce joined the Ruthrauff Service LLC team in 2007 after spending 14 years with a major controls manufacturer.  Bruce has a degree in Computer Engineering Technology and has been involved in all aspects of Building Automation including controls technician, application engineer, project engineer and project management for the past 20 years.

Bruce was promoted to Operations Manger in October of 2009. He is responsible for HVAC Service, Building Automation, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
